Enable multi-factor authentication for your Fuse account
Every Fuse Analytics user can require a second factor at sign-in from their own profile. It takes a few steps and an authenticator app on your phone.
How to enable multi-factor authentication
- Log in to your Fuse Analytics portal.
- Click your user account in the top right.
- Select “Profile”.
- Check “Require Multi Factor Authentication”.
- Open an authenticator app on your phone and scan the QR code that appears.

Once the setting is on, signing in asks for the current code from your authenticator app in addition to your password.
What multi-factor authentication adds
A password can be phished, guessed or reused from another breach. With multi-factor authentication turned on, signing in also requires a one-time code generated on your phone, so a stolen password alone is not enough to reach archived HR and payroll records. The codes come from an authenticator app of your choice; enrolment is the QR code scan in the steps above.
Where it fits in the platform
Multi-factor authentication is one layer of the platform’s protection, alongside the SOC monitoring and third-party code scanning described on the security page. It also protects the self-service portal through which former employees exercise their data subject rights.
